These are the offspring of mortals and supernaturals, usually gods or other powerful beings. The most important difference between Demigods and Celestials is the Demigod’s ties to the mortal world.

This is a catch-all term for anything that doesn’t fit into any other category.

EvolvedEvolved
The Evolved are those who have become something greater than mere humans, usually through magic. These include people who have become fused with a spirit, granted powers permanently by a Celestial, or have used magic so much for so long that their souls have been changed.

Fey is a term applied to a vast number of beings of an otherworldly nature, such as pixies, fairies, brownies, goblins and the Sidhe.

Risen DeadThe Risen Dead
The Risen Dead are non-Vampir dead that are running around on Earth. These include zombies and mummies.

SpiritsSpirits
This term applies to any non-corporeal being that is not one of the Vampir. These include animal spirits, ghosts, and elementals.

TurnskinsTurnskins
Turnskins are supernatural beings who can switch between human and animal form, and/or any state in between. These include the various forms of lycanthropes (werewolves, werebears, etc.), skinchangers, and swanmays.

VampirVampir
Vampir require the blood of the living in order to survive. These include the Lilu of Ancient Babylonia, the Strigoi of Romania, and vampires such as Dracula.

Places

Crossroads Gas

This gas station looks like something lifted out of the 1950’s, complete with old fashioned pumps. This station doesn’t actually have a name, but it’s located at more than just one kind of crossroads.

Slow River

A small, Virginia mining town, with a long history. In the past, it was a beacon of of success and prosperity; but where there’s light, there’s always shadows.
