There wouldn’t be much of a story without characters. Below you’ll find a listing of all the characters that have appeared in the Domino Girls’ stories.

 

Diana Smith
Except when performing, Diana is usually quiet and contemplative. Both twins took quickly and easily to Aunt Evie’s teachings, but Diana was drawn to the research and ritual side of it, often falling asleep with her nose buried in books of ancient lore.

She has an affinity for nature and nature spirits. Animals are rarely, if ever, afraid of her. Diana can also predict the weather and, so as children, the twins rarely got caught outside in a rainstorm unless they wanted to.

As part of the Domino Girls, Diana does vocals and usually plays piano.

Phoebe Smith
Phoebe is almost the polar opposite of her younger twin. She is outgoing and upbeat, and would have been the captain of the cheerleading squad if she didn’t think they were all twits. One of the most popular girls at school, she really didn’t care what other people thought about her, and their schoolmates quickly learned not to say about or do nasty things to the twins, as bad things always happened to people who did.

Phoebe’s “knack”, as Aunt Evie called it, was the ability to see and talk to the dead. In fact, all of her childhood imaginary friends weren’t imaginary at all, but ghosts.

As part of the Domino Girls, Phoebe does vocals and usually plays guitar or violin.

Evelin Dubois
Aunt Evie, as just about everyone calls her, took Phoebe and Diana in when their parents died and raised them as her own children. A magical practitioner, she recognized the twins’ abilities. She taught the girls how to use them, and instilled in them a strong set of ethics and responsibility.
