Look at all that color! It took me several hours to get it all done. Not as long as it took David to draw it all, of course.

The text is still turning out hard to read. Experiments continue in my attempts to find a workable solution.

The dog doesn’t look very good here. The only dog I have to use as a model is a hyperactive Australian Shepherd. I really want the dog spirit to be more like an Irish Wolfhound, but my friends won’t go out and buy another dog just to humor me.

Besides being the wrong species, Gandalf is also a very poor model since she’s constitutionally incapable of sitting still. She’s very cute, though.

The dog spirit will look completely different shortly, because I firmly believe that a foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little
minds. I used to think it might be the bugbear of little minds, but a bugbear is too high a CR for a little mind.
