Ick. The border on the third panel didn’t come out very nicely. Ah well. Things will be better in the print version.

Oh dear. Did I say print version?

Note to self: don’t draw a big, honkin’ Rebel flag in a location you’ll have to draw over and over again in a comic. I put it in because it was appropriate to a bar called “The Rebel Yell” which is appropriate to a small, backwards Virginia town, but I didn’t think about the fact that it was hanging behind the stage would mean I’d end up having to display it over and over again until it was too late to change it.

A smarter cartoonist than me would have had the girls replace it with a Domino Girls banner or something. I’m not particularly Southern, and am really not a big fan of racism, so I’m kind of annoyed with myself about that.

Oh well, live and learn.
